The Book Show is a collection of artworks created by a group of artists inspired by one of their favorite book.
The show start on July 3 - July 28, 2012 at Maghen gallery Paris (France)
Opening Reception / July 6, 7:00 PM - 10 PM.

Zombie Art Show Long Beach

	It's time for Halloween again, I am excited to be part of this zombie show. here's my piece Opening Reception hours: 2pm to midnight. www.zombieartshow.com

Garry Booth of Phone Booth Gallery (Long Beach, CA) and Jason Liwag of e•phem•er•al (Hollywood, CA) have combined efforts to co-curate an exhibition of zombie themed artwork in conjunction with this year’s Guinness record breaking Long Beach Zombie Walk on October 29th, 2011 on Pine Ave. The art exhibition will be in a 1,500 square foot venue kindly provided by our friends at Long Beach Pedalers... Society, right in the middle of the zombie action, and will be on view for the month following. Projected attendance for opening night is between 15,000-20,000 enthused zombie-clad individuals!

October Shadows Show

It's almost time for Halloween again. I was excited to be part of this awesome Halloween show which is gonna be at Mountain View Mausoleum, Altadena. October Shadows 2011 is the annual celebration of Halloween in art. this year, more than 68 artists are gonna be in the show.

This free event opens on Sunday, October 2nd at the art gallery inside of the Mountain View Mausoleum, 2300 N. Marengo Avenue in Altadena, CA 91001 and will run each Saturday from 11am to 5pm and Sunday from 11am – 3pm through the entire month of October.

Any artwork purchased must remain on display for the first two weeks of the show’s run, but will be available for pick-up on or after Sunday, October 16th.

The Open Market provides a rare opportunity for the public to interact with emerging and established artists from Pasadena’s leading cultural institutions: Pasadena City College and Art Center College of Design. One hundred percent of the proceeds go directly to participating artists, thereby supporting individual careers and artistic expression.

The Classic of Mountains and Seas .part 1

I recently discovered a book called ShanHai Jing (The Classic of Mountains and Seas) is a Chinese classic text that is at least 2,000 years old. It is largely a fabled geographical and cultural account of pre-Qin China as well as a collection of mythology. The Classic narrates episodes of 204 mythical figures, notably the gods Foremost, Fond Care, and Yellow, and goddesses like the fearsome Queen Mother of the West and the doomed Girl Lovely, the nurturing solar and lunar goddesses, and many others unknown outside this text. Here are the three of the ancient Chinese mythical creatures I did for fun. maybe I'll continue to do some more.
